Mikä on Endoskooppinen Sleeve Gastroplastia (ESG)?

ESG on innovatiivinen toimenpide, joka pienentää mahalaukun tilavuutta ilman leikkausta. Suun kautta viedään endoskooppi, jolla asetetaan sisäiset ompeleet, jotka pienentävät mahalaukun tilavuutta 70-80%. Toisin kuin perinteisessä sleeve gastrectomyssa ei tehdä viiltoja, kudosta ei poisteta ja toipuminen on huomattavasti nopeampaa. Toimenpide käyttää Apollo OverStitch -teknologiaa ja kestää noin 60-90 minuuttia yleisanestesiassa.
